The Service Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for our customers by providing efficient and effective support. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, reporting faults, and supporting our service engineers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills with experience in delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Call Handling: Answer incoming calls from customers, report faults, and book maintenance appointments.
* Service Coordination: Organise and support service engineers to ensure effective service delivery.
* Customer Enquiries: Address and resolve customer enquiries to maintain high customer satisfaction.
* Diary Planning: Plan and manage engineers’ diaries to optimise workflow and meet service commitments.
* Workload Prioritisation: Prioritise workload to handle urgent issues and meet deadlines efficiently.
* Subcontractor Liaison: Liaise with subcontractors to coordinate services and ensure smooth operations.
* Supplier Communication: Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and availability of equipment.
* Reporting: Compile and send detailed reports to customers, ensuring clear and professional communication.
* Order Management: Order equipment as needed to support service operations.
* Administrative Duties: Perform general administrative tasks to support the service department.
Key Experience Required:
* Proven experience in a customer support role or similar position.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
* A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
* Highly organised.
* Team player.
