Delivery Manager - Digital Health
Ideal Health are a leading digital health consultancy, supporting healthcare organisations at all stages of their digital journey from strategy and planning, through to business case, mobilisation, implementation and optimisation. As we are undergoing rapid growth we are looking for a Delivery manager to join our team.
The Role
You will be a senior member of the management team, with responsibility for the following areas:
Project Scoping
Collaborate with the client engagement team and Practice leads in ensuring effective and consistent project scoping and pricing, with clarity around statements of work, deliverables, assumptions, governance and reporting
Project Mobilisation
Oversee and co-ordinate the effective mobilisation for all projects, ensuring clarity across the business for how each project will be set up and managed. This would include, governance and controls, risks and issues log, project status reporting, change controls, team selection, on-boarding and team management.
Project Oversight
* Monitor all stages of the delivery of projects, through on-going collaboration with practice leads, project leads and clients, to ensure we are providing services in line with client expectations.
* Overseeing project leads and project teams, monitoring project timelines, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards
* You will ensure effective communication between clients and the delivery team to maintain an environment of continuous project improvement and quality management.
* In collaboration with the project lead and account manager, ensure that any project scope changes and change requests are handled effectively
* Implementing risk management strategies and contingency plans and mitigating potential risks that could impact project timelines or deliverables.
* Implementing and monitoring quality assurance processes to ensure that all work meets or exceeds client expectations.
Client Communication
Building and maintaining strong client relationships is a key aspect of the role. Acting as a liaison between the client and the delivery team, ensuring that clients expectations are met and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the project.
Continuous Improvement
Continuously improving delivery processes is vital for staying competitive and meeting evolving client needs. You will identify areas for process optimisation and work collaboratively with teams to implement improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills and Background:
We are looking for an ambitious individual with professional services project delivery experience.
Specific skills should include:
* Experience in overseeing the delivery of professional services and consulting projects
* A sound understanding of project management principles including project governance, reporting and controls
* A Practitioner level qualification in Project management methodologies such as Agile or Prince
* Commercial project delivery experience, ideally within the digital health sector
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* A structured approach with the ability to think and plan tactically and creatively and to prioritise work programs in the face of competing demands
