Job Summary and Qualifications
The Lead Cardiac Sonographer serves as the liaison between management, staff and physicians for routine matters. In collaboration with the Clinical Manager, is responsible for overseeing the functioning of the echocardiography department. Provide an advanced level of quality echocardiography services and support to both sonographers and physicians.
What qualifications you will need:
Education:
Associates Degree required; Bachelor of Science Degree preferred.
Experience:
* Preferred 3-5 years’ clinical experience in adult cardiac sonography.
Licensure/Certification:
Registered in Adult Cardiac Sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) preferred. Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. Current driver’s license required due to travel required to satellite offices 20%.
Currently registered with New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
