About The Role
Due to an internal promotion we have an exciting new opportunity for a Mechanical and Electrical Project Scheduler to join our team, to support our Chandlers Ford Branch.
This role will be a part of the project team of 3 who will all have an integral part in organising and scheduling internal project team resources across the South of the UK.
As a Mechanical and Electrical Project Scheduler, you’ll get to:
* Schedule all reactive and planned works to appropriate resource, paying attention to location, expertise, and response targets.
* Be responsible for dealing with operational/clients requests in all aspects of the project and escalating any issues to the Installation/Electrical Managers, when required.
* Ensure all project teams are organised and provided with the relevant job packs for jobs to which they have been allocated.
* Ensure full audit trails are maintained and evidenced where required.
* Deal with communications in a professional and prompt manner.
* Monitor project team travel and activity and respond to issues as required.
* Allocate the system tasks required for all onsite tasks to the relevant personnel the day prior to the project commencing on site for all planned works.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in planning and/or scheduling multiple resources with various skill sets.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines, manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and positively adapt to changing priorities.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy within the scheduling approach.
* Possess strong IT skills and demonstrate a high level of communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to provide detailed information and advice in a clear and positive manner, ensuring understanding of any instructions given.
* Demonstrate a creative approach to analysing and problem solving, utilising technology and reported information to improve efficiencies within the department.
* Work effectively as part of a team both locally and with departments in the wider business to identify/resolve issues proactively to minimise the impact to timelines with project goals.
* Work effectively under pressure within a busy and diverse environment.
