Position: Service Advisor
The Service Advisor, under the direction of the Service Manager, will primarily be responsible for initiating services and repairs by understanding performance problems and services requested; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; and maintaining excellent customer service.
Experience in the above would be an asset; however, training would be provided as we would love to invest in the right candidate.
Job Qualifications:
* Experience in Service Advisor role would be an asset
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel and computer applications
Job Requirements:
* Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible
* Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information
* Conducts a thorough walk-around of guest vehicle, takes pictures and videos
* Test drives the vehicle with customer as needed to confirm the problem or refer to technician if tech not available
* Conducts thorough maintenance menu presentation
* Ensures achievement of Xtime KPI’s and budget targets
* Maintains a Customer Service Index (CSI) above national and regional average
* Provides a complete and accurate estimate for labor and parts, presenting quotes to clients via preferred method of contact through online quoting tool
Additional Responsibilities:
* Checks on progress of repair throughout the day, contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed
* Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed, and additional work and authorization is noted. Closes repair order as appropriate
* Other tasks as assigned
