About The Role
An exciting modernisation and transformation journey is underway at Morrisons and our Technology teams are working together to improve how technology is used across our business as well as how we deliver it.
We are looking for an experienced QA & Test Manager to join our team covering various product domains to ensure we meet the levels of quality our customers expect.
You'll be responsible for:
* Lead the QA & Test discipline within a given Domain(s), supporting the delivery of business value whilst managing risk and maintaining quality
* Define and communicate the Domain(s) Test Strategy and associated Test Plans covering functional testing, non-functional testing and test environments, ensuring all changes are adequately tested before their introduction into the live environment
* Direct a team of test professionals within a given Domain(s), reporting on progress against key milestones
* Collate governance metrics and use this data to drive subsequent improvements to existing processes
* Contribute to the wider QA & Test community. Play a key role in defining best practice and rolling out continuous improvement across all Domains
* Champion (and help define) the increased use of test automation and non-functional testing
About You
You'll ideally have the following skills and experience:
* An excellent understanding of Quality Assurance and Testing
* A good understanding of V-Model, Waterfall and Iterative development methodologies and how to apply them
* Demonstrable knowledge of functional testing, non-functional testing, test automation and test environment management
* A good understanding of a variety of test tools and their role for different types of testing
* Excellent stakeholder management and supplier management skills
* Previous experience working in a QA & Test Lead/Manager role on large and complex programmes of work
* Previous experience working with outsourced testing suppliers
