National Insurer with Central Chelmsford Office Location is expanding and require a Claims Team Leader
The role:
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and managing a team of claims handlers to ensure they provide the highest standards of customer service to our clients.
2. Motivating the team to do their job efficiently and ensuring targets and personal goals are achieved.
3. Management of team workflow to ensure all absences and holidays are covered.
4. Management of the holiday calendar/authorisations.
5. Monthly 1 to 1 meetings with team, completing appraisals within required timescales.
6. Overseeing and monitoring the lifecycle of the teams’ claims.
7. Identifying training needs in the team and implementing any necessary training.
8. Account management support where required.
9. Ability to deal with complaint calls received in the team.
10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being able to communicate in a clear, concise and structured manner.
11. Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.
12. Excellent stakeholder management with an ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands.
13. Thrive in a high-pressured working environment.
14. Be driven to meet and exceed targets set for the Real Estate Team.
15. Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
16. Knowledge and experience of Property Claims.
17. Other ad hoc work as required.
