To assist managers and be part of team that provides a specialized decontamination of medical devices, contributing to the clinical care of the patient.
The post-holder will provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to the the Estates & Facilities Decontamination Management team with a particular focus on organisation and support preparing for, record keeping during and recording of outcomes, following Decontamination Safety Group (DSG) meetings and Trust Decontamination Committee (TDC).
The post holder will be responsible for their workload and will be able to work without direct supervision and be an integral member of the Admin Team of the DSD.
T Organise and co-ordinate DSG and TDC meetings attended by key stakeholders ensuring that data, reports, and all completed documents required in advance of the meetings are available; and any actions arising from the meetings are carried out in a timely manner and the tracking of actions to make sure they are completed.
Maintain an attendance tracker to ensure representation from all key areas in maintained.
· Ensure DSG and TDC documentation is complete and circulated to all relevant parties by an agreed time prior the meetings.
· Transcribe and manage records of DSG, TDC and other meetings attended as requested, providing draft documentation to the meeting chair in good time following the meeting.

Liaison with a range of healthcare professionals from service users, internal departments and external organisations.

Manage, raise, receipt and track orders for decontamination service activities via the integra system.

Maintain asset register for decontamination equipment and liaise with asset owners to ensure information is up to date.

Manage KPI database for Decontamination Facilities including DSD, Endoscopy Decontamination Units (EDUs) Domestic room decontamination and laundry compliance.
