ROLE PURPOSE / SUMMARY The role of the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board (MSE ICB) is to join up health and care services, improve peoples health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities for our 1.2m population through our wider system and four Alliances. MSE ICB are committed to place clinical and professional leadership and the voice of our residents at the heart of realising all its ambitions. This role sits within the Nursing and Quality Directorate and supports the clinical and operational lead role in the All Age Continuing Care (AACC) service, which incorporates the adult Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and Children, Young Peoples Continuing Care (CYPCC) teams and the Neuro Navigation team. The AACC service delivers the statutory duties of the ICB to assess and to provide for services to meet the identified needs of those found eligible for Continuing Healthcare. The service delivers that duty through the implementation of the National Framework for Continuing Healthcare and NHS Funded Nursing Care (2018) and the National Framework for Children and Young Peoples Continuing Care (2016), working in accordance with the AACC Operational Policy. This Administrator role will support the AACC Clinical Support Manager in delivery of a comprehensive, high-quality standard of administrative service to the AACC team. COMPETENCY BASED KEY DELIVERABLES Dependent on allocated caseload, the role may include: To support in providing a timely and comprehensive administrative service to the AACC teams, meeting deadlines set and producing work to a high standard. To manage all administrative tasks such as diary management and bookings for the clinical teams, arranging assessments, appeals and other meetings, sourcing and providing the required documentation in an appropriate format to attendees and producing accurate minutes and action logs. Accurate recording and following of agreed processes to ensure comprehensive case records are maintained, data integrity protected and standardised approaches are in place across the AACC service. To work in a supportive manner with other members of the AACC service to ensure the smooth running of the service; supporting administrative tasks on specific pieces of work and projects, ensuring appropriate administrative cover arrangements are in place. Ensuring that all costings have clear breakdown, supporting negotiation of costs and ensuring that an auditable financial agreement process is followed. Liaison with other ICB partners who commission care on behalf of the AACC service, to ensure that best fit for needs and at the most economical cost is assured. Escalating any blocks to timely brokerage and commissioning of placements and care. Ensuring that all care packages have clear contractual agreements, service specifications, funding agreements, invoicing arrangements and contract monitoring arrangements in place. Responsible for decisions made during the course of duties, seeking guidance and escalating issues where appropriate Assist with the delivery of project plans and workstreams, as directed by line manager and raising any issues with delivery to line manager Required to supervise less experienced team members and demonstrate how to perform tasks within the remit of their role Responsible for the monitoring of one or more budgets Seeks best value for money within own area of work
