FREELANCE SUB AGENT - 2 years work
We have several requirements for our SZC (Sizewell) project
2 x sub-agents
As a Sub Agent, you will be responsible for assisting the Site Agent/Project Manager on larger value schemes, in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers’ objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control. Projects will include, but are not limited to dredging and marine civil engineering contracts for clients. Works may include dredging, Bridge Construction, Minor Civils, Environmental Improvement, and Marine Piling.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven experience of management and technical support in a civil engineering environment (including CDM regulations) - Essential
2. High level of written communication experience, preferably technical writing for tender submissions or technical reports - Essential
3. Willing to be an ambassador for Land & Water Services - Essential
4. Knowledge of all aspects of successful design and project management - Essential
5. Excellent commercial awareness and proven experience of delivering profitable works - Essential
6. Proficient in the use of personal computer and business applications/software including BIM procedures and cloud-based document control - Essential
7. Valid driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK - Essential
8. Can-do attitude - Essential
9. Experience of working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects - Essential
10. CSCS and SMSTS card - Essential
11. Working knowledge of NEC condition contracts, programme and risk management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting - Essential
12. In-depth knowledge of BS5975 TW Procedure and experience working as a Temporary Works Supervisor - Essential
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Appointed Person (Lifting) CPCS card
2. Chartered with the ICE or working towards ICE Chartership
3. Experience of managing and training junior team members
4. Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
