The KS1 Class Teacher role
* You must have Qualified Teacher Status.
* Proven track record of excellent standards of teaching in previous UK based teaching roles.
* Identify clear teaching objectives and learning outcomes, with appropriate challenge and high expectations and a clear vision on assessment criteria.
* Set tasks that are challenging to children and maintain high levels of interest.
* Organise & manage groups or individual children ensuring differentiation of learning requirements, reflecting all abilities and identifying SEN.
* Set clear targets and build on prior attainment.
* Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encourage good practice regarding punctuality, behaviour, standards of work and homework.
* Effectively use ICT to support learning and teaching.
* Reflect on own teaching practice to ensure development of teaching.
* Encourage children to think and talk about their learning, develop independence and take pride in their work.
* Have regard to the curriculum for the school, promoting the development of the abilities and aptitudes of the children in any class or group assigned.
