The Surrey Safeguarding Adults Board Team is a small, dedicated team, who works to support the multi-agency partners across Surrey, leading on strategic work plans, audit and assurance and learning from statutory reviews.
We are dedicated to helping and protecting adults in Surrey who have care and support needs and who are experiencing, or are at risk of, abuse or neglect. As the SAR Coordinator you will:
* Lead on the Coordination of the Safeguarding Adult's reviews (SARs) from Triage, commissioning, right through to the quality assurance and dissemination of learning across the partnership
* Work collaboratively with the Domestic Abuse Related Death Review (DARDR) coordinator on the Joint DARDR/SAR reviews
* Support the audit and assurance work to enable the embedding of learning and understand the impact of the work undertaken.
* Provide support to colleagues in the SSAB's sub-groups, supporting the sharing of learning from local and national reviews.
* Support the development of training programmes and resources
* Collaborate with colleagues across the partnership
