PURPOSE OF ROLE: This role reports into the Early Careers & Engagement Manager to support the coordination and delivery of all internal communications activity across ii, working closely with the HR team and wider business to ensure success. The focus of the role will be to support the Early Careers & Engagement Manager to: 1) Deliver a cohesive and coordinated colleague engagement approach across internal communication channels 2) To support business change activity, through delivery of communication workstream activities This will also involve working with internal engagement forums to deliver activities for diversity & inclusion and wellbeing, in line with our people strategy. You will also support with the delivery of an innovative approach to colleague feedback, through surveys or other appropriate mechanisms, to ensure a consistent tone of voice, branding, and colleague experience. Requirements KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/WHAT YOU’LL DO: • Deliver the internal communications strategy, working with key stakeholders to identify messages and appropriate channels • Create and deliver the internal communications calendar, to ensure efficient and timely messaging to all colleagues • Continuous improvement and management of internal comms channels (intranet, social, newsletters, emails etc.), including the creation of communications linked to key people activities • Support the management of internal communications workstreams related to specific organisational design and change activities • Support the internal engagement plan, acting as the link with engagement forums, including targeted activities for diversity & inclusion and wellbeing • Deliver colleague feedback mechanisms (e.g., pulse surveys), and support in action planning and review • Adhere to effective governance and sign-off processes for all internal communications • Ensure consistency in tone of voice and branding, across all internal communications • Develop meaningful relationships to support the development of the ii Employer Brand PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: STRAIGHT TALKING | MOVING WITH SPEED | OWNING THE OUTCOME • Organised and self-motivated • Proactive and collaborative • A confident communicator • Enjoys building strong relationships with internal stakeholders • Able to use own initiative • A creative thinker • A continuous improvement mindset ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: To apply for this role, you will need: • Prior experience in Internal Communications/Employee Engagement role(s) is advantageous • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels throughout the organisation using engaging and effective methods • Experience in a fast-paced digital environment • Strong IT and design skills, with proficiency in using various tools and platforms e.g. Canva, Mailchimp
