Job Duties: Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and timelines. Coordinate and manage all on-site activities to ensure smooth execution of fit-out projects. Liaise with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors to align on project requirements and deliverables. Site Supervision: Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and within set deadlines. Monitor and manage site workers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or delays. Quality Control: Ensure that all construction and fit-out work meets the required quality standards and specifications. Implement and maintain quality control procedures, conducting inspections and audits as necessary. Address any quality issues promptly and effectively, implementing corrective actions as needed. Health and Safety Management: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, implementing appropriate measures to mitigate risks. Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or near misses, taking necessary actions to prevent recurrence. Resource Management: Manage and allocate site resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to optimise project efficiency and productivity. Monitor and control project costs, ensuring work is completed within budget. Coordinate deliveries and manage inventory of materials and equipment on-site. Client and Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or queries. Foster and maintain positive relationships with all project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Attend and participate in project meetings, presenting updates and progress reports as required. Problem Solving and Decision Making: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the course of the project. Make informed decisions to keep the project on track, balancing cost, time, and quality considerations. Proactively address potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including site reports, progress records, and health and safety logs. Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management, detailing project status, milestones, and any issues encountered. Ensure all documentation is filed and stored in compliance with company policies and procedures. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate site teams to achieve project objectives and maintain high standards of performance. Provide training and development opportunities for site personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
