About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has been created to join our well respected and knowledgeable School Effectiveness Team.
Our strategy is underpinned by three core principles: knowing our schools, supporting our schools and challenging our schools. We are aware that safeguarding can present a number of challenges for school leaders, hence the creation of this role, so that we can better advocate for our schools regardless of their status.

In short, the role will broadly entail:
* Pulling together findings and analysing the Section 175 Audit
* School audits and visits which would feed into the Team Around the School Approach
* Practice Review/Serious Case Reviews
* Advice for schools regarding educational safeguarding practice, provision and culture
* Safeguarding Policies and supporting schools and settings
* Joint Responsibility for DSL Network Meetings
* Being the Safeguarding Education representative on agreed boards
