Key Responsibilities:
* Provide companionship to clients, offering a friendly presence to prevent loneliness.
* Assist with personal care, ensuring all aspects of personal hygiene are met.
* Support clients with medication management, including collecting prescriptions and providing reminders.
* Prepare nutritious and delicious meals for clients during mealtimes.
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in clients' homes, ensuring their living space is comfortable.
* Help clients with mobility, providing assistance in getting around as needed.
* Provide compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes, assisting with daily activities.
* Conduct home visits to assess needs and develop tailored care plans.
* Ensure the safety, dignity, and rights of service users are respected.
* Maintain accurate records and attend necessary meetings and training sessions.
* Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Manage and document client behavior, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for clients.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
* Provide person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs and aspirations.
* Work flexibly over 7 days, including evenings and possibly some nights.
* Conduct multiple visits to clients' homes, clustered geographically to minimize travel.
* Promote individuality, identity, rights, choice, privacy, independence, dignity, respect, and partnership.
* Ensure equal opportunities and challenge discrimination, reporting any instances of abuse witnessed or become aware of.
* Encourage independence and motivation to avoid dependency.
* Support community access as part of the care plan.
* Provide personal care, medication assistance, meal preparation, household duties, and use personal protective equipment and manual handling equipment safely and correctly.
* Maintain accurate records, communicate effectively, and share information as appropriate.
* Work alongside the team to win new business and expand the service.
* Understand and respect each person's preferred method of communication.
* Be an effective team member, demonstrating flexibility, resourcefulness, and cooperation.
* Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Attend or complete any required training.
Requirements:

* Driving license preferred but not essential.
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
