Job Description:
Senior Software Assurance Consultant - Military Jets
We are seeking a Senior Software Assurance Consultant to conduct Independent Technical Assessments of safety-critical software for military jets with legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate software safety and compliance with industry standards
2. Develop structured software safety arguments
3. Conduct code-level assessments (SPARK Ada & SPARK Analysis)
4. Ensure adherence to software development and verification processes
5. Collaborate with safety experts and stakeholders
Requirements:
1. Strong knowledge of aircraft software development & safety-critical systems
2. Experience in safety-critical software development or assessment
3. Familiarity with DO-178B/C, DEF STAN 00-55, IEC 61508
4. Proficiency in SPARK Ada (highly desirable)
5. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, or relevant experience
6. Security clearance required
