We have an exciting fixed term 12 month 10 PA post in Haematology with an Interest in Haemostasis and Thrombosis at UCLH.
The successful candidate will be supporting the TTP/TMA and wider haemostasis and thrombosis service at UCLH.
The post holder will be part of a large haematology team, including five other consultants within haemostasis and thrombosis. The post has the benefit of all the academic opportunities available to a consultant at University College Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and UCL Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre.
All candidates must be eligible for full GMC registration and either already be on the Specialist Register or be within six months of receiving their Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) at the time of interview.

The successful applicant will provide clinical support for the TTP/TMA service and wider haemostasis and thrombosis service, including inpatients and outpatients. An on call commitment will be to assist in the TTP/TMA service and haemostasis and thrombosis inpatients. This would involve inpatient and on call referrals and advice involving UCLH patients and tertiary referrals. The on call commitment would also include advice regarding blood transfusion issues for UCLH.
Applicants should have a special interest in Haemostasis and Thrombosis and preferably a higher medical degree in this or a related area.
The appointee would be expected to support research within areas identified and develop their own particular area of interest. Collaboration with other investigators is encouraged.
