As a Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across various levels, helping students develop a strong understanding of core chemistry concepts. The ideal Chemistry Teacher will be dynamic, supportive, and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality chemistry lessons.
* Prepare students for GCSE exams with effective teaching strategies.
* Inspire curiosity and encourage hands-on experiments in the lab.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Support students with varying abilities and adapt lessons accordingly.
* Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Specialisation in Chemistry or a related field.
* Experience teaching chemistry at secondary school level.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* Enthusiasm for promoting science education.
* Up-to-date knowledge of the GCSE curriculum.
