* General paediatrics
* Paediatric oncology
* Paediatric rheumatology
* Paediatric high-dependency
* Antenatal and postnatal obstetrics
* Gynaecology and breast care
The role is predominantly ward-based, where you will work closely with the Principal Pharmacist to lead and develop clinical services. You will be part of a small but well-established Pharmacy team, collaborating with medical, nursing, and midwifery staff to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Main duties of the job
Your Key Responsibilities include:
* Professional responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to W&C Services, ensuring that medicines are used safely, legally, and effectively.
* Actively participate in consultant and MDT ward rounds, providing evidence-based advice/guidance on medications to ensure their safe and effective use.
* Take responsibility for the development and review of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to medication use within W&C Services.
* Work closely with Clinical Business Unit leads to deliver information on cost-effective medicine use and support the development and submission of formulary applications or amendments to the use of existing products.
* Develop and deliver comprehensive training and education programs for the wider MDT.
* Provide specialist pharmacy support to the full range of specialist W&C Services, including Gynaecology/Obstetric clinics, delivery suite, Paediatric outpatient clinics, and inpatient ward areas, ensuring the goals of the service are met through appropriate policies and procedures.
* Engage with W&C Services clinical colleagues to conduct regular audits, report findings, and review medicines prescribing, administration, and record-keeping in line with local and national audit plans.

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
* Educated to Degree or Masters level in Pharmacy
* Registered Pharmacist (GPhC)
* Postgraduate qualification relevant to hospital pharmacy practice
* Leadership / Management qualification relevant to the NHS or equivalent management qualification or experience
* Registered Pharmacy non-medical prescriber
* Credentialed for RPS Core Advanced Pharmacist Curriculum
Knowledge & Experience
* Significant experience in specialty pharmacy practice
* Experience in delivering clinical education and training
* Experience of leading change management processes
* Knowledge of clinical audit / Drug Use Review projects
* Up to date evidence of work towards the pillars and domains of HEE or RPS advanced practice
* Experience in research, work published or presented to conference
