Communication and PR Manager - Healthcare Business in Gloucestershire
Salary: £35’000-£40’000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Gloucester, (Hybrid)
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Communications and PR Manager to join our growing team in Gloucester. This role is pivotal in setting the strategic communication direction to support the growth of our business. Responsible for developing and enhancing our online presence, engaging our community and effectively communicating our brand values. The ideal candidate is a creative, solution focused, self-starter. The ability to see the bigger picture, identify opportunities and deliver results is key. This is a new role and is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
·Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to support business growth, working with experts from across the business and our agencies to tell our story both internally and externally.
·Support employee attraction, engagement and retention activities through effective communication and working closely with our external agency to ensure the delivery of cohesive and on-brand digital content.
·Manage the brand and creative content across all channels ensuring consistency and compliance across the business.
·Manage and oversee all social media accounts and website content to ensure consistent messaging.
·Source and create content and stories for all channels to increase employee engagement, education and brand awareness.
·Engage with stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships.
·Coordinate and develop press releases, award submissions and marketing materials to increase brand awareness.
·Monitor and measure the effectiveness of activities to support continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
·Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field, or 5+ years in a similar role.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·Strong organisational and campaign/project management skills.
·Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
·Proficiency in social media management and digital content creation.
·Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
·Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
·Experience in the healthcare industry (desirable)
