The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Histology to work in Manchester. We are seeking a biomedical scientist who can make a significant impact by supporting the laboratory’s cellular histology service.
Position Details
* Position: Biomedical Scientist
* Banding: 6
* Location: Manchester
* Hours: Full-time
* Duration: Ongoing
Role Responsibilities
As a Biomedical Scientist in Histology, you will be expected to be proficient in microtomy, capable of cutting over 30 blocks per hour to a high standard, with experience in embedding and staining. Daily tasks include supporting senior biomedical scientists in service delivery and guiding junior staff.

Essential Requirements
* HCPC registration
* Experience in microtomy and embedding
