Car Parts Delivery Driver (Floating) – Thurrock, Essex.
Are you looking for a dynamic and varied role with flexibility? Our client is on the hunt for a reliable, skilled, and self-motivated Car Parts Delivery Driver to join their team covering three of their branches! This is a floating position, which means you’ll step in when team members are on holiday or absent, ensuring seamless delivery service across locations.
Key Responsibilities of the Car Parts Delivery Driver role:
- Parts Delivery & Collection: Rapid response to deliver and collect parts as needed.
- Covering Multiple Locations: Travel between our 3 branches to ensure consistent service.
- Warehouse Duties: When not on the road, assist with stock management, picking and packing, and general warehouse support.
- Geographical Knowledge: Use your excellent knowledge of local areas to ensure fast, accurate deliveries.
- Flexible: Cover for holidays and absences across branches, helping where you’re needed most.
What They Are Looking For in A Car Parts Driver:
- A full clean driving license.
- A good understanding of the local area to ensure quick and reliable deliveries.
- Ability to switch between driving and warehouse duties as required.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Experience in a similar role is a plus, but not essential!
- You’ll need to live local to the area of Thurrock, not over the bridge in Kent.
What We Offer The Right Car Parts Driver:
- Competitive Salary - £12.12 per hour on a 45 hour week = £28,360.00 p.a.
- Weekdays Hours are 8:00AM to 6:00PM.
- When available overtime on Saturdays at time+half.
- Flexibility with working across different locations.
