Now seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead the team and drive excellence in service delivery.
Role Overview
As a Registered Manager, you will oversee the operational management of the children’s home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and a child-centered approach. You will lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care, maintain a positive and safe environment, and support young people to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership: Manage and lead a team of care professionals, providing direction, support, and training.
* Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children’s Home Standards, and relevant legislation.
* Safeguarding: Oversee and promote a culture of safeguarding, ensuring all policies and procedures are rigorously followed.
* Care Planning: Develop and review individual care plans to meet the needs and aspirations of each child.
* Operational Oversight: Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels to ensure efficient operations.
* Engagement: Build strong relationships with children, families, and external professionals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits, reviews, and evaluations to maintain and improve service quality.

Qualifications and Skills
* Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role within children’s residential care.
* Education: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and child protection.
* Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Flexibility: Willingness to be on-call and provide support outside of regular hours when required.
* Registration: Must meet the criteria to register with Ofsted as a Children’s Home Manager.
