Main duties of the job
Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Consultant Acute Care Physician (ACP) at The Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital (on a full-time or part-time basis) with or without a specialist interest.
The post holder’s primary roles will be the provision of medical leadership for the Acute Medical Units and Same Day Emergency Care.

Qualifications
* MRCP
* Fully registered on the UK General Medical Council's Specialist Register or Specialist Registrars may apply if within 6 months of CCT at date of interview
* Full accreditation with the appropriate Royal College
* Full GMC Registration
* Educational Qualification
Experience & Knowledge
* Clinical training and experience in the relevant specialty, equivalent to that required to gain entry to the UK Certificate of Completed Training (CCT).
* Experience of and commitment to teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff.
* Experience of and commitment to medical audit and quality improvement.
* Experience of audit management
* Teaching of non-medical health professionals.
