The Role As Assistant Principal of Culture and Safeguarding, you will: Lead and embed a positive school culture that promotes high standards of behaviour, inclusivity, and mutual respect. Take strategic responsibility for safeguarding, ensuring that all policies, procedures, and practices comply with statutory requirements and reflect best practice. Support staff in delivering high-quality pastoral care and ensure students feel safe, supported, and valued. Work collaboratively with the leadership team to implement and monitor whole-school initiatives that enhance the student experience. Build strong partnerships with families, external agencies, and the wider community to ensure all students thrive. Lead on training and development for staff around safeguarding and culture, fostering a proactive and informed school-wide approach. About You We are looking for a dedicated and experienced leader who: Has a proven track record of leadership in a school setting, with a strong focus on safeguarding, student welfare, and culture. Demonstrates exceptional knowledge of safeguarding legislation and practice, alongside a genuine passion for student well-being. Is skilled at building relationships, inspiring colleagues, and communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders. Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous improvement.
