If so, we have the perfect role for you We're on the hunt for an Operations Variance Analyst to take the lead on stock accuracy, material variance management, and operational efficiency at our Bromborough Snacking site. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring operational excellence, cutting waste, and delivering quality. Position type: Permanent, full time Hours: 37.5 per week Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday Stock Takes Organise, monitor, and lead stock takes, including the big annual audit. Ensure top-notch stock accuracy and manage adjustments with precision. Facilitate weekly and monthly cycle counts and report on completion. Material Variance's Crack down on material variances, ensuring accurate work orders and corrections before account closure. Analyse and report on variances, slow-moving, obsolete, and short-dated materials to minimise waste. Support the team to hit our customer service levels and identify opportunities for improvement. Operational Insights & Improvement Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on material variances, Conformance to Plan, and more. Lead initiatives to achieve material improvement targets. Monitor and report on PFU materials to ensure all are processed within seven days. ERP Super-User Be the site’s ERP expert (QAD), coaching and supporting staff on best practices. Drive continuous improvement in ERP system processes and transactions for materials. Team Provide coaching to staff and directly manage the Production Administrator. Collaborate with Production and Warehouse Management teams to keep everything running smoothly. GCSE/ O-Level Maths (or equivalent) Strong people skills—you’re a team player with great communication A love for numbers and a talent for using data to solve problems. Confidence with computers Experience in Manufacturing (food is a bonus). Someone with a sprinkle of Lean/CI knowledge to keep our processes sharp. Pension (4% Employer Contributions).
