To assemble and test valves to ensure that products are produced to the highest quality standards and on time. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: - Carrying out assembly of products in line with standard operating procedures and relevant standards. - Carrying out testing of products to specified product methods and in line with standards and procedures and health and safety requirements. - Ensuring sales order requirements are interpreted correctly and delivered as required. - Liaising with supervisors on quality issues arising from manufacturing. - Ensuring that all tools/machines used are fit for purpose and reporting any problems to Supervision immediately. - Recommending and carrying out any improvements in line with the company's continuous improvement program. - Working at all time within Health and Safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE. - Keeping accurate and up to date production records. - Showing flexibility and working in other parts of the production areas as required. - Taking an active role in Perfect Execution activities where required. - Being aware of and following all company policies and procedures in carrying out the role Who You Are: - Time served within an engineering environment - Able to work end to end and on own initiative identifying possible issues and suggesting solutions within guidelines - Good attention to detail and pride in quality of work - Flexible and willing to work in different parts of production as required. - Frequently expected to propose the most appropriate solution among a set of learned possible choices. Tasks follow set guidelines and procedures. - Ability to exercise judgement in line with established procedures For This Role, You Will Need: - Time served within an Engineering environment - Attention to detail - Quality focused - Flexible and adaptable for potential cross functional training - Basic IT skills - Prior experience of valve assembly desirable.
