Inspired Luxury Escapes Assistant Sales Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Inspired Luxury Escapes (ILE) Assistant Sales Manager to join the team. This is a full-time role based on 40 hours per week (flexible to meet the needs of the business).
Role Summary
The role is designed to support the sales manager to coach, guide and inspire the Sales team to achieve personal and team goals & KPI’s. In addition, lead by example, ensuring effective handling of all sales generated enquiries across all our advertising media and platforms and provide development and guidance through to career progression.
Responsibilities
• Support the sales manager to build a thriving and strong team culture.
• Focus on building relationships, with constant recognition, ongoing feedback, open communication to help the team bond, perform to their best remotely, have fun, whilst interacting with each other and being productive.
• Assist the Sales Manager to execute a strategic sales plan.
• Develop skills continuously to ensure there is a high level of selling skills and customer service during the end-to-end sales journey.
• Ensure the Company KPIs are met personally and as part of the sales team.
• Hold daily meetings with the sales team in the manager's absence to agree and set objectives and monitor throughout the day.
• Develop own skills continuously for recruiting, training, and leading team members to success.
• Ensure the use of effective sales skills and tactics are used to meet KPI’s.
• Make decisions and take control of situations that arise in an ever-evolving industry by showing persistence, changing priorities, reorganising, and adapting to situations.
• Provide training opportunities, coaching, guidance, and interactions to support and set personal development plans to ensure employees achieve goals and strive towards career progression.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all marketing media, emerging trends, and all social media platforms to handle all generated enquiries effectively and consistently whether it be calls, chat box, or email enquiries.
• Undertake any other duties that may fall into the job criteria.
• Be involved with any other ad-hoc projects/activities as may be required from time to time.
Skills & Experience
• Demonstrable track record of working in a customer-focused environment and achieving targets, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Essential knowledge and experience of the travel industry with a good understanding of both package and dynamic package holiday sales.
• Proven record of people management with the ability to lead, manage, and develop a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to create and maintain a positive, enthusiastic working environment in order to drive and maximise sales opportunities.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management expertise in order to deliver best practices for the whole business.
• Excellent strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret relevant management information.
• Outstanding influencing and negotiation skills, at all levels.
• Demonstrable record of achieving personal KPI’s, with the ability to sell confidently and turn enquiries into sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build strong and effective relationships with a wide range of people across all levels, both internally and externally.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to use Microsoft packages – e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel.
• A passion for results and a genuine desire to achieve, both personally and as part of a successful team.
