Project Manager
Wetherby £50,000 - £55,000 Full-time
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Project Manager to join a successful and growing business based in Wetherby. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of national, multi-phase fit-out projects from tender to completion, working across office and site environments.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in internal fit-out works, commercial awareness, and experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. This is a key role with responsibility for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key duties will include:
1. Full project ownership from tender handover to final delivery
2. Leading the planning, coordination, and execution of national, multi-trade fit-out projects
3. Managing project costs, procurement, subcontractors, and labour
4. Maintaining strong communication with internal departments and external stakeholders
5. Ensuring all Health & Safety, CDM, and legal requirements are met
6. Handling contract variations, delay management, and commercial reporting
7. Building strong client relationships to encourage repeat business
8. Maintaining accurate records and adhering to company procedures
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in internal fit-out project management
2. Management of Sub-Contractors both commercially and contractually
3. Understanding of JCT and NEC forms of contract
4. Knowledge of CDM regulations and H&S best practices
5. Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills
6. Good written and verbal communication skills
7. National travel as required
8. Experience in the healthcare sector is an advantage but not essential
