If you have a passion for shaping value propositions and collaborating with cross-functional teams, bringing innovative medicines to patients this is the perfect opportunity for you About the Role: As an Access Lead, you will be a key player in developing and implementing advanced market access strategies. Your efforts will directly influence the asset/brand strategy and ensure the successful uptake of Boehringer Ingelheim's cutting-edge products. You will work closely with external and internal stakeholders across market access, medical, marketing, policy, patient engagement as well as health system engagement teams to align our market access strategy with asset objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Market Access Strategies: Lead the development of effective market access strategies that optimize price and access, reflecting the value of assigned assets/brands. - Insight Synthesis: Interpret insights from payers, policy makers, patients, and HCPs to inform and shape asset value proposition. - Environmental Monitoring: Evaluate and predict changes in internal and external environments, considering their impact on market access strategies. - Programme Accountability: Oversee market access programmes to achieve commercial ambitions and forecasts, co-developing and executing the MAHA section of the integrated customer plans (ICPs). - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Chair integrated access team meetings to ensure coordination across MAHA teams and orchestrate the delivery of asset plans. Work closely with asset and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of access strategies with overall asset plans. - Budget Oversight: Manage the MAHA/access components of asset activities and budgets, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments. - Stakeholder Engagement: Lead engagement activities across Market access & healthcare affairs, Health system engagement & partnership teams, corporate affairs and medical affairs to ensure cohesive stakeholder engagement plans. Qualifications: - Education: University degree in a relevant scientific discipline is mandatory; a graduate degree (Masters/MD/PhD) in health economics or a related field is highly desirable. - Experience: Extensive strategic experience within the pharmaceutical industry or consulting, with a proven track record in market access, HEOR, and pricing strategies. - Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the UK/Ireland healthcare system and relevant Market Access/Health Technology Assessment bodies (e.g., NICE, SMC). - Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, business acumen, customer orientation, and negotiation skills. Ability to provide insights and services in a matrix setting to multiple assets and franchises.
