To ensure a timely turnaround of Biochemistry referred samples by receiving result reports and entering the results onto the laboratory information management system (LIMS), ready for authorisation by the duty biochemist.
To be responsible for collating and distributing information ensuring that laboratory results reach commercial customers, electronically by email or by post, including weekend cover.
Management of the shared results inbox including general queries.
To ensure the timely management of Biochemistry referral reports and results. This will include: data entry on internal lab information management systems, close liaison with the Biochemistry clinical teams and the Blood Sciences Support Officer, maintaining close working relationships to enable service continuity, receipt and distribution of hard and electronic copies of results, as required.
