About the Role:
We are seeking a Retail Operations Manager to oversee the efficient and profitable operation of our Retail units within the Live department. This includes managing the sale of liquor and food across various outlets, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, and enhancing the customer experience. The role also involves overseeing retail operations during live events, coordinating staff, inventory, and logistics to meet event-specific demands. Ultimately, the Retail Operations Manager is responsible for driving sales, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring seamless retail operations during all live events.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily operations of food and liquor sales, ensuring smooth service across all retail units.
2. Plan and manage retail operations for live events, coordinating staffing, inventory, and logistics.
3. Lead, train, and supervise a customer-focused retail team, ensuring optimal staffing for events.
4. Drive sales through pricing, promotions, and upselling to maximize revenue.
5. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations, conducting regular checks.
6. Manage inventory control and coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock during events.
7. Enhance customer service and continually improve the retail experience.
8. Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and track financial performance.
9. Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative retail offerings.
About You:
1. Proven retail operations management in high-traffic, event-driven environments.
2. Expertise in food and liquor sales, including licensing, health, and safety regulations.
3. Leadership skills to manage diverse teams in fast-paced settings.
4. Experience coordinating large-scale event operations (staffing, inventory, logistics).
5. Strong customer focus and commitment to enhancing service standards.
6. Financial acumen in budgeting, sales forecasting, and profitability.
7. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills for complex retail demands.
8. Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
