Trainee Teaching Assistant Needed!
Job Title: Trainee Teaching Assistant
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday
Location: Abergavenny
Start Date: March 2025
A successful Teaching Assistant will ideally have previous experience working with children inside or outside of a school environment. Other examples outside of a classroom include playscheme, fostering, babysitting, sports coaching, nursery work, and residential homes. A successful Trainee Teaching Assistant will be adaptable and passionate about their craft, as well as effectively work alongside pupils with Additional Learning Needs.

To work in a school, you must:
* Have an enhanced DBS Child workforce only on the update service.
* Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC); we can help with this process.
* Have the right to work in the UK (Passport/Birth Certificate).
* Provide proof of ID and Address.
* Possess a valid overseas clearance if you’ve been abroad for longer than 6 months in the last 5 years.
