This is a hybrid role supporting the UK&I office for a green energy company. You'll focus on providing engineering support to internal and external clients as well as IT Helpdesk support for the UK&I colleagues, whilst supporting the global IT team. The expectation is the Helpdesk/IT tasks will comprise approximately 60% of the role.
Duties / Responsibilities
* Manage the company’s IT systems to include storage, network infrastructure while ensuring minimum system downtime, cybersecurity, backup systems, disaster recovery, redundancy, and business continuity plans.
* Support the company’s risk assessments.
* Train staff regarding the troubleshooting and diagnosing of problems.
* Answer questions about product details, the company, current programs, and issues with accounts or products and the way they are handled in our software systems.
* Provide technical assistance regarding the configuration, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the software used to run our operations like the Blink Network, Salesforce, and NetSuite.
* Respond to Help Desk queries on the phone, via email, in person, or through remote access.
* Manage the onboarding and offboarding of users.
* Provision and configure new hardware including computers, mobile devices, and phones.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a help desk environment.
* Strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.
* An openness to learning new technologies.
* Experience with standard procurement and objective decision-making processes.
* Excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge and experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
* Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 365.
* Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
* Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Teams.
* Ideally experience with business products including: Intune, Salesforce, Netsuite, Ring Central, Zendesk, Jira, JAMF.
