HR Manager
A well established and highly respected high-street firm is looking for a HR Manager. Your role will be to ensure compliance with company policies and assist the Compliance Manager in maintaining HR-related policies and procedures. You will manage all aspects of Human Resources, including personnel records and tasks across the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR administration: Oversee contracts, new starter details, right-to-work documentation, and ensure GDPR compliance.
2. Update policies and procedures as needed.
3. Manage diversity and equality initiatives within the company.
4. Develop strong employee relationships to promote retention.
5. Handle maternity, paternity, and risk assessments.
6. Assess training needs, implement training programs, and support employee development.
7. Oversee appraisals and monitor performance (attendance, probation, sickness, holidays).
8. Manage disciplinary actions and formal grievances.
9. Collaborate with the IT Manager on new starters and digital platform integration.
10. Oversee recruitment, on-boarding, probation, and staff retention, including creating job descriptions.
11. Use HR software and Office 365 for correspondence, records, and documents.
12. Provide advice and direction to employees, offering support and guidance.
