1st Line Support Engineer
Norwich - Onsite
£22,000 - £55,000 Per Annum DOE
Cooper Lomaz is collaborating with a Norwich-based company to find a 1st Line Support Engineer for their dynamic team. In this role, you will provide crucial support to end users across the UK, delivering exceptional 1st line assistance with the guidance of the IT Manager. The position also offers the opportunity to address 2nd line tickets, supported by experienced colleagues, fostering your professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the initial point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent customer service and effective communication with end users.
2. Respond promptly to incoming tickets, prioritising tasks based on urgency.
3. Provide remote support over the phone or through client connections, troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues.
4. Deploy new hardware for end users, configure accounts, and grant necessary permissions.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
5. Experience in a customer service environment.
6. Strong communication skills, especially in high-pressure interactions.
7. Proficiency in IT troubleshooting, Active Directory, Office 365, Firewalls, and Networks.
8. Ideally, possess a qualification such as a BTec or CompTIA.
