Key Responsibilities
This leading national organisation is seeking a Commissioning Manager to drive the development of high-quality, client-focused debt advice services. In this role, you'll oversee the commissioning process, ensuring services are strategically aligned, effective, and accessible for those in need.
Working within a cross-functional team, you'll manage contracts and grants, engage with stakeholders, and support the continuous improvement of service delivery. You'll also have the opportunity to deputise for the Service Development Lead and influence sector-wide.
What You'll Do
Lead the commissioning process from service design to performance evaluation
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure services meet sector needs
Develop and implement performance metrics to assess service effectiveness
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth service delivery
Enhance commissioning frameworks through best practices and feedback
Support and train service providers to improve understanding and outcomes
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong experience in the debt advice sector, ideally in operational and strategic management
Proven background in grant/contract award and management
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage stakeholders effectively
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Knowledge of funding models within the advice sector
Ability to produce clear reports and insights to drive decision-making
