If so, read on… We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team on a 6-month fixed term contract basis. If you are a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you Main responsibilities: Entering and sending out invoices for approval Preparing and processing the payment run Bank reconciliation Entering Purchase Orders Inbox maintenance CT61 payment and submission Bank Rec reports • Accrued Bank Interest Ensuring all customer queries are dealt with within a timely manner. • Applying manual credits to customer accounts Processing and analysing customer cancellations Raise manual invoices through our accounting system (Xero) Skills and Experience: High level of attention to detail and accuracy Good communication skills Highly organised and able to work methodically Good time management skills and ability to be able to prioritise and work to set deadlines Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team Experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word & Teams Knowledge of accounts software, particularly Sage Why work for us?
