Access Control Delivery Manager - CCTV, Access Control, Secure Area Entry | up to £400/day | UK Airports (South) - Outside IR35 Contract
This is an exciting role for an experienced Access Control Delivery Manager to manage a team of engineers and work as part of the wider construction team, responsible for refurbishing & fitting new security infrastructure.
Responsibilities will include:
* Develop and Maintain Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
* Issue and Manage Work Permits
* Scope, Cost, and Provide Quotations for Works
* Manage Faults and Work Scheduling
* Provide Technical Guidance and Support to Engineers
* Produce and Distribute Installation Reports
* Escalate Critical Issues to Senior Management
Required experience/skills:
* A minimum of 5–10 years as an Access Control Engineer, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role, leading technical teams in a high-security or critical infrastructure environment.
* Proven experience working within airports or high-security environments is essential.
Certifications & Licenses:
* Valid CSCS card (mandatory).
* SSSTS certification (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).
* Health & Safety training or relevant certifications (preferred).
* IPAF, PASMA, and Confined Space Certification (advantageous).
Technical Knowledge & Skills:
* Strong expertise in Access Control Systems.
* Intruder alarm systems knowledge (preferred).
* Familiarity with CCTV systems and data installations (preferred).
Additional Requirements:
* Full UK Driving Licence (a clean licence is preferred).
* Physically fit and able to pass medical assessments for Working at Height, Airside Driving, and other job-specific requirements.
* Ability to pass comprehensive security checks, including DBS screening.
