As a Registered Children’s Nurse you will assess, implement and evaluate nursing care for children living with palliative and often complex health conditions. You will share our passion to provide excellent, personalised and compassionate care to children & their families.
This exciting opportunity involves providing leadership support and specialist clinical expertise to the multi-disciplinary team, and will undertake a number of line management responsibilities. Providing a high standard of palliative nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, you will support families in making the most of the short time they have together.
As well as managing a wide range of complex conditions, you’ll help create precious memories through play, arts and crafts and new experiences; creating an environment where children are truly able to live life to the full. You will enjoy working as part of a close-knit team and have a positive, resilient attitude.

You will work flexibly over a 7 day period; this will include early, late & night shifts. We are recruiting both part and full time positions. Full Job description available.
Hours: 22.5, 30 and 37.5 weekly hours available
Salary: £33,000 - £39,000 FTE per annum (depending on skills, knowledge and experience)
This role will require a DBS Check which will be processed and paid for by the hospice. A full driving licence is desirable for this role.
