Reporting to the Plant Manager you will be responsible for the control of the production plant to ensure pipeline tonnage / customer demands are met. Key responsibilities include: • You will support the Plant Manager to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the plants at Fawley & Thame. • You will take a lead role with regard to engineering activities and management. • In addition, you will support Fawley and Thame with regard to Management of Change, written schemes of examination, updating operating procedures in conjunction with Ops personnel. • You will collate the necessary information and compile the annual environmental reporting data. • Deputise for the Plant Manager as required. Requirements: • Suitable candidates ideally will be educated to HNC level or apprenticed trained (in electrical or mechanical plant-based field). • You have a recognised engineering qualification, ideally educated to HNC / Degree level or apprenticed trained (in electrical, mechanical or instrumentation plant-based field). • Demonstratable experience in a process Management Role • Good working knowledge of applicable legislation ( COMAH, etc ) • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership and drive projects forward independently • Good problem solving ability • Team player with a can do attitude. • A driving licence is required This is a fantastic opportunity to join a World leader in its field and will offer job security as well as further development opportunities for the right person.
