Senior Paraplanner

You will need to be an adaptable, organised, and motivated individual, capable of working on your own initiative and as part of a small, super friendly team. This is an exciting and challenging role with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, providing you the opportunity to develop and learn your skills in multiple areas of the business.
Your Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
1. Preparing new business documentation and client review packs
2. Assisting with the production and update of accurate client portfolio valuations and reports
3. Working closely with the advisors to interpret and communicate advice based on clients’ circumstances, risk profile, and objectives
4. Assisting the advisors with preparing recommendations and suitability reports
5. Obtaining literature and forms from providers
6. Obtaining and conducting anti-money laundering checks
7. Calling clients to pre-qualify and book appointments with advisers
8. Recording leads and ensuring accurate records are maintained as to progress
9. Ordering and ensuring up-to-date literature is available for advisers
10. Keeping up to date with all relevant product, legislative, and technical changes
Essential Experience & Skills:
1. The successful candidate will ideally come from an IFA/wealth background and have exposure to supporting advisers in a technical administration capacity
2. Knowledge across investments, pensions, and protection/life cover, with tax or trust exposure
3. The role is ideally suited to an experienced Senior Paraplanner.
4. The candidate must be an excellent communicator, proficient, and motivated to work on a stand-alone basis and who works equally well as part of a team
5. Flexibility to be available to meet deadlines
6. Excellent communication skills, including telephone, emails, and physical documents
7. High attention to detail in regards to your own output and to support colleagues in other areas
8. Positive and proactive approach
9. Level 4 Diploma for Financial Advisors
The salary will be discussed at the interview stage and will be dependent on experience, with working hours being Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm (with 1 hour lunch).
