Head of Business Development - Successful Law Firm - London / Hybrid Working - up to £110k great benefits We are on the hunt for an experienced Head of Business Development, with a proven track record of delivering effective BD plans and strategy (preferably gained in a law firm environment) to join a leading London Law Firm. Leading the BD team, this newly created, hands-on Head of Business Development role will require you to draw on your strong understanding of business development and marketing in order to strategise, plan and budget in an all-round, operational capacity. In a nutshell: You will use your creative, innovative and proactive nature and strong BD and marketing experience to build strategy, identify opportunities and execute plans in a hands-on, operational capacity. Key responsibilities as the Head of Business Development will include: Actively managing a business development and marketing team, building and maintaining a culture of high performance and operational excellence Partnering with practice areas and partnership team to build a targeted BD and marketing strategy Managing the annual practice planning process Leading strategic business development projects Reporting on activity and ROI - presenting data-driven reports Remaining up-to-date with relevant trends, ensuring the organisation is progressive in its approach Organising pitches and presentations Managing key account tracking and outreach Producing digital media and ensuring the website is updated with relevant articles and posts And much more What we’re looking for: Extensive experience in business development and marketing, ideally in a law practice Proven track record of delivering effective BD plans and strategy Excellent leadership / management capabilities with the ability to foster a collaborative team and a culture of high performance A hands-on, operational mindset - a strong desire to be ‘all in’ Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a commercial mindset Creative and innovative, always seeking to be proactive and progressive Strong influencing skills at senior level with the ability to question and challenge Proven ability to gain credibility at all levels Planning, budgeting and monitoring skills Excellent project management skills High proficiency in MS Office Interested in this fantastic opportunity?
