We are looking for a pro-active Accounts Manager to join our growing team at Mudd & Co Block Management.
As a firm, we manage a variety of apartment blocks on behalf of the Management Companies from our York based office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and continuing long-term relationships. The Account Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients while providing exceptional service, working alongside the team to ensure that tasks and requirements surrounding the individual companies' finances are kept up to date.
The candidate's role will include:
* Preparation of Service Charge invoices
* Maintain, balance, and monthly reconciliation of ledgers
* Prepare daily banking
* Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and reconciliations
* Prepare and consolidate year-end information for accountants
* Maintain debtors reports and oversee the recovery of arrears
* Generating regular financial reports for Clients
* Assist with general office administration including answering incoming calls and responding to queries.
Skills
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate financial management.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing client needs.
* A background in finance or accounting is preferred but not essential.
The candidate would ideally have AAT level 3 / level 4 qualifications and be experienced in the use of Sage or other accounting software where skills are transferable.
The role is available on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30.
Immediate start available; full training will be provided to the successful candidate in-house.
