Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Robot Programmer/Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will program, operate, and maintain robotic welding systems to deliver high-quality automated welds across various materials. While prior welding experience is beneficial, the company is committed to providing full training in welding techniques to help you excel in the role. This position requires technical expertise, advanced troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program, optimize, and troubleshoot Fanuc robotic welders and associated equipment to meet production requirements.
* Maintain and repair robotic and automated systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Collaborate with external contractors to schedule service and repairs.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance robotic performance and productivity.
* Ensure adherence to Health & Safety protocols, fostering a safe and compliant working environment.
* Support welding processes (manual and robotic), with full training provided for seam, stitch, and MIG welding.
* Perform other tasks as required by the production team.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience programming and setting up Fanuc robots from scratch.
* Advanced troubleshooting abilities in robotic and automated equipment.
* Strong mechanical knowledge for effective maintenance and operation of equipment.
* Ability to interpret and modify technical drawings and robotic programming parameters.
* A willingness to learn and develop welding skills as part of the role.
