Purpose of the role
This position is responsible for carrying out routine analysis of Cement, GGBS, Fly Ash and Calumite in line with British Standards, European Standards, and local Operating Procedures. This position is also responsible for reporting results in a correct and timely manner to all interested parties.
Key accountability
1. Chemical & Physical Analysis of Cementitious materials and Calumite – To carry out analysis in accordance with relevant product standards, specifications and local operating procedures, ensuring good performance to the HTC proficiency scheme.
2. Monitoring & Reporting Results – To monitor & report results in a correct and timely manner to all interested parties within the business.
3. Laboratory Cleanliness – To ensure that the laboratory and laboratory equipment is kept in a clean condition at all times.
4. Laboratory Sustainability Performance – To ensure that laboratory tasks are carried out in accordance with the company’s Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Objectives.
Education/Qualification
1. Full Training will be provided.
2. Full driving license is required.
