Broadway Events are looking for a dedicated Finance Manager who is a passionate and commercially driven individual to become a key member of a growing team. You will be coming on board to a small but established company who organise trade exhibitions across the country.
Role Purpose:
* Responsible for the financial management, business planning and budgetary processes of the company
* All general accounting duties including Payables, Receivables, VAT, Payroll, Banking
* Maintain a strong financial management and control environment with appropriate processes
* Improve business efficiency and commercial decision making by enhancing management information and financial forecasting
* Implement and execute business growth strategy alongside MD
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* All bookkeeping transactions, payables and receivables processing
* Prepare monthly management accounts and forecast at event level. Provide commentary and supporting schedules and analysis
* Prepare December management accounts and schedules to facilitate production of statutory accounts. Liaise with the external accountant and ensure statutory accounts are filed in a timely manner
* Prepare by event and overhead budgets. Agree annual budget with MD
* Prepare and maintain rolling three-year plan
* Develop, implement and manage on-going measures to enhance financial and management information including appropriate KPIs and metrics
* Calculate / review commission and incentive payments to ensure compliance with individual schemes
* Monitor sales intake against target, maintain and issue sales graphs
* Ensure the integrity of and reconcile booking sheets
* Prepare monthly payroll
* Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
* Maintain Xero structure
* Review commercial documents (terms & conditions) as required
* Carry out any reasonable project work / ad hoc task as requested
Key Knowledge & Skills:
* Recognised professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) QBE would be considered
* Experience of completing statutory and management accounts
* Experience of Accounting Software and Payroll Systems
* Advanced Excel skills
* Commercially focused
* Good analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary: £37,000 - £44,000 pro rata Dependent on experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £37,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 22.5 per week
