Post-1: Neuro-Oncology at the UHCW, Lower-GI cancers at GEH, or any other tumour site TBC. Post-2: Lung and thoracic malignancies at the UHCW and lung SABR. The post is required to work alongside the consultants and lead the site-specialist services including facilities for inpatients and outpatients, dedicated chemotherapy suites and radiotherapy facilities. The appointee will support the Acute Oncology Service, the ward inpatient care and may contribute to the On Call rota if they desire. The post holder will be expected to provide cross cover for MDTs (videoconferencing is available) and to liaise with the Acute Physicians/Emergency department as part of the supporting the Acute Nurse Led Oncology Service and when on call. Patients will be treated in both the Arden Cancer Centre on the UH site, the Maple Unit on the St Cross Hospital, Rugby and the Dorothea Unit at the George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton.
