An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Teacher and experienced leader. The position of Toddler room teacher and 2IC for the Centre involves working closely with the Centre Manager on governance and being responsible for managing the Centre in the Centre Manager’s absence.
The Centre is licensed for 65 children. Having 12 toddlers, our ratio for the Toddler room is 1:4.
Run by the University of Canterbury Students’ Association, our teachers enjoy attractive working conditions and remuneration with low teacher to child ratios.

To be successful in your application, you will possess the following:
* Early Childhood Education Registration
* Experience in leadership
* Experience in governance responsibilities
* A passion for working with Under 3’s
* Thrive in a collaborative, inclusive environment and understand the importance of removing barriers and providing quality curriculum for all learners
* Excellent communication skills and enjoy building good relationships with colleagues, children, and families
